I was born on the edge of Dartmoor and spent much of my childhood on the North Cornish coast.  The wild and isolated have always fascinated me, as have the wonderful shapes of the natural world that respond with such vigour to the games of life.

A farmer husband and four children did not leave time for pottery, painting and poetry until much later in life, but these have become an abiding source of interest, challenge and enjoyment.
